A delightful apartment on 2 levels in a quiet part of the village, opposite the church. Secure and easily maintained, the property has been a holiday home for the same family for 40 years. It has been a wonderful 'pied a terre' for exploring and holidays.
Situated close to the towns of Cogolin and St Tropez with a wide choice of restaurants, beautiful beaches and countryside.
The apartment benefits from being on a corner position with a view of the old mill from the kitchen
On the ground level, there is a good-sized kitchen/dining room, with original beams. There is a fridge freezer, the oven is run on Calor gas. The kitchen leads to a reception/bedroom area.To one side is a wooden stairwell to the downstairs where there is another room: originally a wine cellar and currently used as a bedroom which leads to a separate WC with heated towel rail and a new shower. Stone steps lead up to street level at the side of the house. Both 'bedrooms' have been used as living/sleeping or storage areas from time to time and are easily adaptable.
The total area is approx. 50 sq. metres.
The windows all have new wooden shutters.
Most of the furniture would be included in the sale of the house- ( a couple of pieces being of sentimental value)
The village has two markets a week, a couple of small supermarkets, clothes and gift shops. Restaurants, bars and internet cafes. There is a pharmacy, doctor and dentist. It has reasonable daily bus links to local towns and there is a train station at Les Arcs. The airports of Nice, Marseilles are about 90 mins and Toulon under an hour.
