Quiet village location
This village detached house/cottage is situated on a quiet road in the centre of the small village of Le Ham. Le Ham is about 2km from the N12. Village amenities include a bar/tabac close by and a chambres d'hote on the edge of the village. The thriving village has a mairie, a primary school, a village hall, football pitch and an attractive fishing lake (plan d'eau).

The house is neat, tidy, clean and very pretty. You could move in tomorrow as all beds and bedding are included too. We are only parting with it reluctantly as we are starting to feel our age and don't want to relocate to France for family reasons. We have owned it for 14 happy years and have enjoyed joining in the community activities and making friends with French neighbours and British ex-pats and second-homers.
Le Ham is close to the N12, and accessible to the North coast, Brittany, the Loire Valley and Normandy by road and Paris by rail from Laval or Le Mans (both about 40 minutes away). Travel by road is easy from the North Coast ports, Calais (4.5 hours), and by air via Dinard or Paris.
