The house is a traditional-styled modern built Mallorquian house. The house, which sleeps eight in 4 bedrooms is open and spacious while having a really cosy family feel.
Situated in the countryside within the conservation area of Es Trenc, Casa Susurro lies down a very quiet lane on a designated cycling route which gives access directly to the market town of Campos. There is no traffic noise apart from the odd passing car. The front of the house has a large natural garden with palm trees, orange trees and a 500-year old olive tree. The views are of open countryside and dry stone walls, and a continual breeze (the Migjorn) keeps the house cool in those hot summer months.
There is an extensive raised covered terrace at the rear of the house with natural wooden beams and terracotta roof tiles and ceiling fans. There is plenty of space for dining table, chairs, and terrace furnishings to enjoy the shade in the hot summer months. At the side of the house there is a large courtyard area with dining for 8+ under the shade of three magnificent Jacaranda trees, ideal for BBQ's.
The pool area sits under the gaze of the terraced area. The pool is 60 square mt, and has Roman style steps ideal for little ones to splash, The pool itself is not fenced, but the access from the terrace is railed and secured with lockable gates while still keeping an open aspect of pool area. The surrounding terrace area is approx. 350 square mt. There is plenty of space for sun-worshippers around the pool with sun loungers and umbrellas. There is also plenty of car parking space behind large wrought iron electric gates
There are 6 acres of land with the villa planted with numerous palms, and trees. The garden is landscaped and irrigated from the house’s own well (fully licensed) which feed a fully lined purpose built cistern that also feeds the water supply to the house so there are no water bills. The house can also switch over to town water if necessary.
There is a septic tank wastewater treatment system which is highly efficient self- contained and environmental friendly.
The house is open and spacious while having a real cosy family feel. The furniture and decoration throughout has been designed sympathetically for the house’s setting,
incorporating modern with traditional style furniture. It has four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
All floors are tiled and the ceilings have wooden beams. All of the bedrooms have air con and for those winter months there is central heating throughout.
There are three bedrooms upstairs, two with a shared bathroom while the third has a bathroom en suite. The fourth bedroom is downstairs and has its own bathroom with bath.
Upstairs there is a second small lounge with access to terrace which is partly covered. Here are great views of the open countryside with views to the sea and the island of Cabrera.
The kitchen is of a new bright modern design with all amenities and central island/breakfast bar.
There is satellite TV, and Wi-Fi connections throughout the house.
THE SURROUNDING AREA
The house is a 5 minute drive down the lane from the wonderful bays of Es Trenc, Sa Rapita and Ses Covetes beaches which are reputedly the best beaches on the island. The stretch of white sands overlooks turquoise waters and the island of Cabrera; the water is shallow and ideal for children and there are several beach bars and restaurants on the 7 kilometre bay.
Ses Salines, Sa Rapita, Santanyi and Colonia Sant Jordie are all within an easy distance of house, with wonderful restaurants, shops and markets.
FOR THE FAMILY
Along the south coast of Mallorca runs possibly the islands most famous beach, Es Trenc.
However, not everyone knows that these golden sands are split into 3 different parts; one of which is Sa Rapita.
Sa Rapita beach runs into Ses Covetes beach which joins up with Es Trenc punctuated only by a scattering of beach bars and houses. However at Sa Rapita, once you have passed the mariner and yacht club, this naturally charming beach is only overlooked by the bordering trees and woodland which begs to be explored. Like its neighbouring beaches the turquoise shallows reach far into the surf making it ideal conditions to school your water babies or simply have a splash to cool off.
The yacht club offers not only a brief rest bite from the sun, sea and sand but also offers facilities including showers and an outstanding menu on their restaurant terrace. With its easy access and parking it makes for an enjoyable day for all.

The house has belonged with the same owner since it was first built in 2003 and was first used as a family home. This year the house has been let for summer holiday rentals and realises an average income of around 50,000 euros for approx. 5 months rental (less expenses) and has a licence to do so. If the buyer wishes to continue with the rental, we can continue to manage the property for them.
There is also enough land for an additional build of up to a further 140 square mt.
