As well as the obvious places to visit, such as Fyvie Castle and the Castle Trail, we are also on the Whisky Trail that winds its way around Aberdeenshire and is totally accessible from here and not that far from the NC500.
Then there are the North and East Coasts with plenty of small coastal villages which can all be access within 45 minutes.
Heading inland, we spend many hours touring Speyside, Deeside and Donside with all their many attractions, too many to list here.
Heading further West you are within easy reach of the Cairngorm National Park and even heading further West you can reach Fort William and beyond in 3 hours.
Buying Long Rig as a Holiday home is a gateway to an area of outstanding beauty and tourist destinations and given the economic running of the house and its location, it is also a base for touring all the sites in Aberdeenshire and beyond.
