The flat gives on to a courtyard with magnificent green oak tree, where parking is permitted.
The flat was renovated in 2001, including bathroom, roof and internal restructuring in order to create a generous sized bedroom with tuscan style exposed beams, a living room with views over the Aretino countryside, a dining room that communicates with the american style kitchen. (sq mtrs 25). On the east facing side of the house you will find the second cellar (sq mtrs 12), which gives directly on to the garden (sq mtrs 136). Another bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin is next to this cellar, newly renovated in 2016. Both garden level cellar and outside bathroom have new glass doors handmade by local ironmonger.
The garden, which is protected by low bushes and stone walls, partly renovated in 2016, offers grassy shade beneath a linden tree, as well as a stone terrace for eating outside in the summer. A part of the garden has been used very successfully as a vegetable garden yielding organic tomatoes, salads, zucchini and so forth. There are two olive trees and a vine as well as several rosebushes and a generous herb garden. There is an open shed with a tiled roof where you can store wood and garden tools, and where there is the space and plumbing for washing machine and handbasin. In 2016 the sceptic tank was completely replaced and new tubing and drain pipes for the whole house were installed. The house is in good working order and has been well maintained.
