For sale is a substantial stone built house situated at 800 metres above sea level in a small French village located in the lower Alpes.
It is well served with good roads, and has a daily bus service which runs into Nice. The property is about one hours drive from Nice and the airport, and regular trains to Nice run from the local town of Entrevaux, which is a 15 minute drive away.
The house is located in Daluis, an area popular with tourists who visit the Gorge de Daluis, which is around one km away. The river Var is located a few hundred metres from the property, and is regularly used by fishermen and white water canoeists.
The nearest ski resort is Valberg, which is about 30 minutes away by car.
Daluis has a cafe and bar ( Auberge) and a local repair garage. The nearest large supermarkets are about a 10 minute drive away.
