Lovely semi detached villa in a typical Portuguese village location. Part of a small development of four houses with secure gated entry set in the heart of the village of Amoreria, the villa is a 5 minute drive from the the town of Obidos one of the most picturesque locations in Portugal.
The villa is a 10 minute drive to some of the best beaches in the area:
• Medão (Supertubos Beach) beach with the perfect tube surfing waves (Peniche)
• Praia do Carreiro do Mosteiro (Berlengas Island), small beach surround by huge cliffs with turquoise waters teaming with fish overlooking the pretty harbour.
• Baleal beach, popular surfing beach north of Peniche
• Praia Tocha (north of Figueira da Foz) unspoilt sand dunes beach with great surfing waves.
• Praia da Nazaré – The beach on the front of Nazaré is one of the best of the Silver coast
Praia do Foz de Arelho - the best beach of Obidos Lagoon which faces both the might of the Atlantic and the calm waters of the lagoon. The beach has golden sands, good amenities and is a great place for a day on the beach.
There are a number of excellent golf courses within easy driving distance. The West Cliffs Golf Links, which opened in 2017, was named the World’s Best New Golf Course, while the Bom Sucesso course is part of the exclusive European Tour Properties network. The links to the websites are::

The villa is in the heart of a popular village, which benefits from a host of amenities, including cafés, bars, three restaurants, pizza/takeaway, mini-markets, post office, butcher, chemist, hardware store, hairdresser, petrol station, children's playground and sports ground. The market town of Caldas da Rainha is 20 minutes away here you will find a wealth of restaurants, bars, cafes a shopping centre with cinema complex, large supermarkets as well as daily markets. It is 5 minutes from the historic town of Obidos. You can get to Lisbon in under an hour.
The villa has a spacious lounge with a feature fireplace containing a log burner, the two sets of patio doors face the front garden of the property and ensure that the room is light and bright, the rear of the lounge has a dining area with a table with seating for eight people so plenty of room for entertaining, a further patio door leads directly to the rear patio area which is ideal for outdoor dining. The well equipped kitchen is off from the dining area but can also be accessed from the hall. The kitchen has a number of floor and wall cabinets which provide ample storage and is fitted with a gas hob, electric oven and a brand new fitted microwave/combination grill. There is room for a full size dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer which may be available to purchase separately.
Stairs with a feature glass balustrade lead up to three good sized bedrooms and a spacious family bathroom.
The bathroom has a full sized bath with over bath shower, wash hand basin with storage, toilet and bidet. The master bedroom is extremely spacious with room for a king size bed and additional furniture. One wall has floor to ceiling fitted wardrobes with a mix of shelved and hanging space additional fitted cupboards on the opposite wall provide ample storage in this room. Double patio doors lead to a balcony which overlooks the front of the property and provides views to the countryside. The en-suite shower room has a large walk in shower, toilet and wash hand basin with built in storage.
Bedroom two is a double with a window facing out to the rear of the property. There are floor to ceiling fitted wardrobes in this room too. The third bedroom, although also a double, is currently set up as a children's room and contains two sets of bunk beds. Patio doors lead out to a balcony which looks over the rear of the property and gives views to the countryside. Again fitted wardrobes provide ample storage in this room.
There is a downstairs cloakroom with toilet and wash hand basin.
All flooring downstairs is light colored porcelain tiles, upstairs bathrooms are also tiled but the bedrooms have wooden laminate flooring.
The village is serviced with Fibre Optic broadband.
The current owners use the villa as a holiday home which they let to holidaymakers in the summer usually achieving eight weeks rentals over the summer period.
Although the owners of this villa use it as a holiday home the other three properties in the development are occupied on a full time basis by residents, the development has secure entry and the adjoining property has CCTV so the property is completely safe.
