OROKLINI: Once a small rural village, it has expanded almost to a small town. It has, however retained its community spirit, with many local events arranged throughout the year. It has a long, wide promenade, skirted by restaurants and coffee shops, but it is not a tourist town in the sense that it temporarily dies during the winter months. It boasts several theatres, a five screen cinema, and concerts, featuring the Cyprus symphony orchestra and others. All events offer tickets at very affordable prices with reductions for oaps.
