The house is free standing in its own land and at least 60 meters from the nearest neighbour, and a similar distance from the nearest residential street. It is a modern build from the 1980s, made with good quality materials so that it is well insulated against heat and cold, and very solidly built. This seclusion means that the house is not overlooked by anyone, and not easily seen from the street, which increases the sense of isolation, but there are people and facilities nearby when needed.
The heart of the house is an enormous kitchen-diner (9.5x5.5 meters) which impresses everyone who comes in and is cool in summer and warm in winter. Immediately outside the kitchen is a sunny terrace ideal for breakfasts and aperativos, where we have maintained a herb garden. Passing by a guest bathroom and storage room one enters the living room. This is an airy, calm space to relax in. Here there is a wood stove that efficiently heats the entire room and upstairs landing. Stairs rise from the living room to the four bedrooms upstairs. The bedroom area is completely separated from the rest of the house and there is no disturbance.
