The underfloor central heating boiler is also housed behind a triple set of bi-fold mirrored doors. The garage can be entered through a door from the ground floor hallway.

Climbing the curved main staircase you enter into the triple aspect living room with four sets of double windows as well as a single paned door and French windows, both leading out onto a pleasant paved portico overlooking the main walled garden, complete with overhead fans for relaxing and dining outside during the hot summer months. The kitchen floor is laid with handmade terra cotta (cotto) tiles from the famous Sannini factory in Impruneta near Florence, aged with a special treatment process on site. The bespoke solid Chestnut fitted kitchen units are selected to compliment the other joinery and are topped with an appealingly veined Carrara marble work surface. There is ample space for a side by side American style fridge freezer if desired.

To the top floor there are two lovely double bedrooms, also floored with solid French Oak and finished in the same style as the rest of the home. The master bedroom has a balcony where a table and chairs could be placed to enjoy the sunrise as it climbs above the mountains in the morning. The balcony also looks across the garden and swimming pool to the stunning mountain range in the distance. The shared bathroom is lavishly decked with rare burgundy coloured marble imported from the Margret River in Australia and cut and polished locally in the Carrara marble capital close to Camaiore. Coupled together with a lighter beige Italian marble, the finished result is spectacular. The bathroom has ample natural light through two electrically operated skylights and has a roomy open wet room, a double ended bath and a sink with a cherry wood marble topped vanity.

The garden surrounds the property and over the split levels of the house there are various doors to take you outside. The garden is laid to lawn at the back with a range of mature shrubs and hedges surrounding it together with some small easily maintained flower beds. LOCATION
The property is on a very quiet road with little passing traffic. Although the road is essentially a ‘dead end’, further along the road is a dirt track which leads to Camaiore village and can be used as a short cut when on foot, or as an alternative road for a 4x4. Heading the other way, the road in and out passes through the village of Pieve which has two excellent pizzerias offering varied menu choices and excellent al fresco dining in the warm months and has two small very old fashioned stores which have a great selection of most things including fresh locally grown vegetables in season. There is also a government school for the local young children. The walk from the house to the shops in Pieve is barely 10 minutes.

Camaiore is sandwiched between some of the nicest towns in Tuscany and is just 20 minutes from the popular beach town of Viareggio. Other places worth visiting that are in easy reach are Lucca, Pietrasanta, Pisa and Forte dei Marmi and with the excellent network of motorways places like Florence are still an easy drive away.
