MATERIALS: 60cm (2 feet) thick stone walls with insulated duopitch roofing which is mainly tiled with some slating. Floors are generally tongued and grooved boards in oak and chestnut. However the sitting area flooring has hand made red tiles with oak inserts and the kitchen area has linoleum on chipboard flooring. Internal walls are studwork with ply or plasterboard facing.
