The village , which is the smallest one in the Sierra de Cazorla Natural Park, has a small weekly market, a padel court, health centre, pharmacy, shop and two very good bars. There is an equestrian centre and an excellent hotel on the outskirts. A swimming pool is going to be constructed. It is 8km from a market town (excellent market) which has a bus station with links to the whole of Spain.
A few minutes drive takes you into the Sierra Cazorla mountain range with truly beautiful views and great walking.
There are numerous bigger cities including Granada (for the Alhambra) all good for day trips.
