The fully renovated winery includes a state-of-the-art production area and an exquisite tasting room, which can also function as an exceptional space for special gatherings. The land surrounding the Quinta, with its terraces descending to the river, is ideally placed for growing high quality grapes with Chardonnay and Loureiro, receiving promising awards from Decanter. The wines were recently awarded with 89 points (out of 100) by the famous testing institute of Robert Parker in the USA. This is the highest score so far given to Vinho Verde wines. Several restaurants in the North of Portugal recommend the Quinta when customers ask for a top quality Vinho Verde wine. Wine experts compare the Chardonnay with an excellent Chablis wine and the Loureiro with an excellent Riesling wine. These wines have a high percentage of alcohol when compared to the average Vinho Verde wines (Chardonnay approximately 14% and Loureiro around 13%) as a result of which these wines are more sustainable and have more character. Currently being delivered exclusively to export companies and top restaurants in the EU.

The elegant paved drive leads you to the front door of the house. The property benefits from full oil-fired central heating, double-glazing throughout and pre-installation of satellite TV to all rooms. You enter the house into a large entrance Hall with ceramic tiled floors throughout. The Wooden staircase leads to first floor with rear aspect windows overlooking the breathtaking views of the mountains and river. To the right is the large 8mx5m Lounge with a log burning fire set in a stone fireplace.

From the entrance you have a passageway to the right leading to the main ground floor WC with shower, bidet, toilet and hand basin. Further down the passage to the left off the entrance you have a rather large 4mx2.5m Utility/Laundry Room. With built in cupboards, marble worktop incorporating 1 ½ bowl stainless steel sink unit and plumbing for washer / dryer. At the end of the passage is the ground floor Bedroom 5mx3m which is currently being utilized as a study.

The Quinta offers a high standard of living with an indoor 8mx4m swimming pool and gym / workout area along with an outdoor Swimming Pool. It also boasts a personal library over two floors with an office. A formal 5mx4m dining room seating 22 people, leads outside to the terrace and pool area, where there is an additional outdoor Kitchen/BBQ with brick built barbeque and stainless steel sink and eating area, with lovely views over the pool and countryside.
