This beautiful stone house called 'Maison de Maître' dates back to 1800. It is located in a small village next to the 'départemental' road. The roof of the house was completely redone in 2011. An insulation of all of the house under the roof (50 cm) as well as several walls were renovated in 2016. The same year 11 new double glazed windows and one double glazed door were installed. In December this year (2021) structural beams on the ground floor were reinforced and a new shower cabin as well as new floor in the shower room were installed. Recent heat pump (2018) heats all of the house as well as water tank which makes it rather economical to heat. The house is connected to the main village sewer.

There is an outbuilding of about 80 sq m with the new roof that was renovated in 2020 and it could be used as a garage or further renovated to create a separate house or office.

The nearest town is Coutras (6km away). It has several big supermarkets, an organic shop, restaurants, bars, nursery, public and private schools, shops, numerous medical practices, gym and a train station with the trains going directly to Libourne (10 minutes), Bordeaux (30 minutes), Périgueux (1 hour), etc. There is a lovely local producers market twice a week: on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The next big town is Libourne (20 km) with its big hospital that was recently renovated and enlarged, cinema, restaurants, shops, schools, food markets three times a week outdoors and indoors (open during the week), nice riverside, tourist boats, brand new aquatic centre, big lake with public parc and train station (trains to all destinations including Bordeaux and direct trains to Paris). Bordeaux international airport is one hour drive away. There are many lakes with sand beaches in the area. Two bus stops for school buses are in front of the house. Small bakery, primary school, football field, mairie are walking distance from the house. One can enjoy fishing few hundred meters away from the house. And there many hiking trails close to the house.
