'Chateau Yiongy' is situated in Poudens Haut in the north west of the Department of Lot on the border with the Dordogne Department in spectacular countryside between the lovely rivers Dordogne and Lot.
Poudens is a small farming hamlet of about 25 dwellings.
The picturesque villages of Rocamadour, Domme, Sarlat, La Rogue Gageac and Beynac are a short drive. The area is full of lovely village restaurants, walks, churches and magnificent castles and gardens. The climate is generally considered to be the best in France with long hot summers and short winters.
A property search will show a railway line at the rear. For avoidance of doubt the track is located in a very deep cutting, so it is not visible or noisy from the property.
This property offers enormous potential for holiday rentals. The first floor is accessed by a separate staircase leading to three bedrooms, lounge and bathrooms so the property can offer two three bedroom or one six bedroom accommodation.
HOUSE SWAP/PART EXCHANGE
A house swap or part exchange would be considered on any property preferably in the UK but anything considered.
The property has been our family holiday home for 25 years with a major extensive renovation and conversion having recently taken place. It is offered in fabulous condition with literally nothing to do apart from pouring a glass of red on arrival. The price stated includes all furniture, fittings and effects apart from a few personal items which may be negotiated separately.
