Located in the picturesque village of Port-Launay in the Parc Naturel Régional d’Armorique, the house overlooks the quay and the river Aulne, with spectacular views of the river valley and 1.3 hectares (approx 3.2 acres) of land.
South facing and built c 1955 in the traditional manner with stone walls and a slate roof, the house has 3 bedrooms, a large kitchen / dining area, two bathrooms and a delightful lounge with featured stone wall. The house is in need of some modernisation, but is perfectly habitable. There is a large garage area and a wine cellar underneath the main accommodation.
At only 45 miles ( about 1 hour 10 minutes drive) to the ferry port of Roscoff, 19 miles to Quimper and with excellent access to the express road N165, the village is only 2km from the little town of Chateaulin, with shops and a wide range of facilities. Only a short drive away too are the beaches of the Bay of Douarnenez and the outstandingly beautiful Crozon Peninsular.
For sailing or boating enthusiasts the location is ideal, with very low cost mooring within yards of the property.
