Tremblay Information

The nearby town of Tremblay, (population 1515) is an historic location centering on its church, dating from 1057 and damaged by fire during the 'Combat de Tremblay' in 1795. Subsequently restored the church has pre-Romanesque architecture. Round about the church local events, such as the annual vide grenier and the two yearly fireworks display are supported by Janine's bar/cafe where rest and refreshment can be taken while the world goes by. There is a medical centre, pharmacy, leisure and community centre, a Spa shop and soon to be a boulangerie in the town, which is situated on the route to Rennes.
