A charming market, packed full of local produce, takes place every Saturday morning.The famous market at Saint Pierre sur Dives takes place on Mondays and is a short drive from Falaise.
The nearest largest town is the university town of Caen.It is to the north of Falaise. It is a half an hours drive from Falaise. Caen is a vibrant and exciting town. One can hop on a train and be in Paris in less than two hours! To the south of Falaise is the town of Argentan A regular train service also runs from here to Paris.
The ferry port of Ouistreham lies 40 minutes drive away and offers an excellent service to great Britain. Other ports within striking distance include Le Havre, Cherbourg and Dieppe
