This is an ancient farmhouse probably built around the 17th or 18th Century. The barn goes back to the 12th. The front of the house may have been rebuilt in brick as the back is the original colombage. In the center of the house you can see the outline of a bread oven and local knowledge suggests that Beauchamp was once the village bakery. I have guessed at the interior size of the house as when I bought it around 1999 there were no measurements.
This delightful and generously proportioned period 'farm house' style property is situiated in a small hamlet of six houses one kilometre from Forges and has the added advantage of terrific views to open but verdant coubtryside at the rear. The house has a nice sized plot of its own ground that could easily be used for tennis court, pool etc.. It has a large, separate barn and a double garage with lots of useful storage space.
An attractive traditional detached 3 bedroom house with large single garage, cellar and gite. Set in approx three quarters of an acre with a bridged stream running through the front garden. As you enter the gated garden to the side of the property there is a large drive area. You are met with a very large and very pretty established front garden. The stream runs from the field behind the house along the side of the land to the front garden, which even has a small wooden bridge.
