Porto Rafti, which is a VERY lively area of Markopoulo is an easy 11 minute drive from the apartment. 10 minutes from Athens airport. Here can be found night clubs, restaurants and wonderful beaches,(it's REALLY lively there for those of you whom enjoy a good nightlife, but also quite and calm for those who seek privacy).
The town center of Markopoulo is a 3 minute stroll from the apartment where there are ALL local amenities, grocers, bakers, butchers, banks, supermarkets etc etc.
Access to Athens center is by car 30 minutes on the new motorway or by underground 40 minutes. The tube station is 10 minutes away by car.
Markopoulo town is being constantly updated and renovated in many ways, this means that the price of property will increase.
