The town of Coimbra {approx 35 km } has all modern facilities ie fully equipped modern hospital,banks,chemists,opticians,train station.Modern police force,excellent fire-fighting services.Well stocked supermarkets,excellent restaurants.It is also close to the beautiful River Mondeo which has beautiful views and restaurants.It is approximately one hour thirty minutes from Porto airport and approximately one hour fifty minutes from Lisbon airport.The motorway system is excellent and all minor B roads {N} are in good condition.
