Albuñol Information

Cortijo Del Carpintero is situated in a former farming community
approximately 700 metres above sea level and accessed by a 4 kilometre
winding mountain track, mainly tarmac and concrete.
Albunol is a beautiful mix of restored or newly built houses,
original farm houses and local real Spanish houses. Albunol has
banks, bars, restaurants and a 24 hour medical centre and local supermarkets. The small resort of La
Rabita with beachfront bars and restaurants, is 7 minute drive. The
larger town of Adra is approximately 8 kilometres to the east, where there are
many shops, restaurants and supermarkets including Lidl. Granada, home of
the Alhambra Palace and nearby ski resort of the Sierra Nevada, is
approximately 1 hour 15 minutes drive.
