El Campello Information

Just 10 kilometres from Alicante and 30 from Benidorm, lies El Campello - a town with strong ties to the sea. It has become upmarket in the last few years, not least because of its' sandy beaches, safe harbour and its' 1 1/2 kilometre promenade which boasts of having some excellent fish restaurants, tapas bars, cafes and a variety of shops. Nevertheless, the town has retained its' Spanish flavour yet has not been left behind and has modern facilities without being 'brash'.
El Campello has a wonderful climate having over 250 sunny days a year, with an average temperature of 19 degrees C.
The traditional Spanish Fiestas are strongly supported in El Campello with two major events - in honour of the Virgin del Carmen in July and the week long Moors and Christian celebrations in October which is not to be missed.
